The show-stopping performance by the 11-year-old Madison Taylor Baez surprised the AGT judges. The AGT team decided to let “Maddie” sit with the audience and got her the chance to perform. After her impromptu performance on stage, Howie Mandel stood up from his seat. He pressed the “Golden Buzzer,” sending Maddie to the next round of AGT. Maddie earned a standing ovation from the audience as she wiped her tears of joy.
