A poor emaciated pitbull named Arugula, locked up for six years, is rescued from her terrible situation by Heather. She is found chained up in an alley covered in a blanket. Heather rescues the little angel and rehabilitates her before welcoming her into a foster home. Arugula gets the best care possible and transforms into an energetic, playful girl.
