The Carol Burnett Show’ developed characters over its eleven-year run. Some of the characters formed the backbone of a spin-off show, ‘Mama’s Family.’ In this clip, Eunice, her husband, and Mama visit Jack in the hospital as he prepares for surgery the following day. Though Jack tries to tell the doctor he shouldn’t see his family, the doctor laughs him off, not knowing how crazy Jack’s family is. This is definitely not the family you want to visit in your hour of need.
