Juan Carlos rescued Chuwie after he was electrocuted by a power line in Venezuela. After being treated at the local hospital, the wild animal was put under the care of Haydee. Unfortunately, he suffered from several burns. However, he soon regained his strength. This was when he allowed a Beagle, Seven, to come closer to him. Seven even started to imitate him, and the two of them soon formed a strong friendship.
