Boatlift is a story narrated by Tom Hanks where he tells us about the evacuation of around half a million innocent people from the shores of Lower Manhattan by boats, on that terror struck day on September 11th. When the World Trade Centre is hit the people in the vicinity try to find a safe passage. However, thousands are stuck at the shores of Lower Manhattan. This is when these brave and kind people who have spent their whole life riding the ships and tugboats come together to rescue these people and save everyone in less than 9 hours.
