Incredible aerial footage of 4,200 elk tromping through the snow

An aerial view of an elk herd helped the Colorado Parks and Wildlife biologists confirm that the elk population in Larimer County hadn’t been seriously diminished by a wildfire. They flew in a helicopter to herd and count the elk.
