Kmart, the discount department store, was one of the biggest names in the retail industry. The store had always promoted that they guaranteed their shoppers’ satisfaction. Soon it became one of the leading retail stores in America. With bright lighting and the best products at a very reasonable rate, Kmart rose to success. However, it started to underperform after a while, and the retail goliath Walmart began to make its presence felt.
