Long-lost African flamingo spotted after a daring escape from zoo

A pink flamingo nicknamed “Pink Floyd” was recently spotted on the Gulf Coast of Texas. The bird’s long legs gave him away. The flamingo had escaped the zoo in Wichita, Kansas, and was spotted 17 years later by a fishing guide on the Gulf Coast of Texas. David Foreman, who had gone fishing with his friend, spotted the flamingo. The bird had escaped the zoo after a big thunderstorm had hit the area.
