Happy, a rescued house sparrow, lived with his mom, Maria, in California. He was found by her when he was just a day old. Unfortunately, he was injured and bleeding. The vet and the rehabber had told Maria that they had to euthanize him, but the caring mom could not let that happen. So instead, she brought him home and took care of him. Happy has been with Maria for a year now, and she believed that they would spend plenty of years together.
