Dusty, a bird, was the only man in Kerri’s life before Ryan entered. Dusty would stick to Kerri like a shadow and participate in everything she did. He started disliking Ryan from first sight, and often irritated him in every possible way. Finally, however, Ryan understood that Dusty couldn’t whistle. Once Ryan taught Dusty the art of whistling, the two soon became friends.
