The backstory to how this colony was found is nothing short of amazing. Pablo Borborongulu founded a clan of six penguins alone in 2009. The only thing they could do is survive. They were surrounded by car litters, heaps of rubbish and all together in an inhabitable environment. Pabloe saw this, and took them under his care. He then founded the Global Penguin Society in order to cater for them. From this point, they’ve grown from a colony of 6 to nearly 3,000, and it’s certain, the sky is their limit.
