Robin Williams is one of the most beloved comedians of all time. Popeye is one of the most popular cartoon characters of all time. It only makes sense that they two became one when Robin played a part in 1980. The year before, he gave all of us a preview of the voice he would be using for the character on The Dick Cavett Show. Robin Williams as Popeye was an excellent portrayal of his talent. A talent that he put to good use until he took his own life in 2014.
