Shipping vessels make their daily voyages across oceans and lakes everyday. Not every delivery makes it to the destination. In November of 1975, the Edmund Fitzgerald took off for a routine delivery near Detroit. The ship was caught up in a storm and ended up sinking to the bottom of Lake Superior. The surprising part is that no one really knows why.
