Crystal Shaw had recently found a skunk who was dehydrated and was lying on the side of the road. She adopts him and names him Gerber. After bringing him home, Crystal finds out that Gerber cannot move his hind legs because of his injury. He recovers from the wound in a week but is also suffering from a head injury. Crystal decides to help this innocent animal and creates a maze for him with wood and chicken wire. Gerber gradually heals and now is happy with his new family.
